At this time, I do not accept insurance directly. Some insurance plans provide some reimbursement for out-of-network mental health providers. I encourage you to check with your insurance provider and ask about reimbursement rates for Individual Therapy and Family Therapy. If you request it, I can provide a statement of services (known as a super bill) at the end of each month for you to submit to your insurance provider.

Please fill out this brief form. We’ll schedule a short phone call to discuss your concerns and see if we’re a good fit for working together.
I provide a 15-20 minute phone call free of charge. You may have questions about my approach or about logistics. This call is a great opportunity to address those! I will ask you about what type of support you’re seeking and what you hope to get out of therapy. If for any reason we discover that we’re not the right fit for working together, I will be glad to offer referrals to other therapists who may better suit your needs.

No two people are the same, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy! You may have heard terms like “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy” or “Somatic Therapy.” If you’ve never been to therapy or it’s been a while, it can be hard to know where to start.

Reflective parent coaching is a specialized practice that invites parents to reflect on the underlying meaning of their child’s behavior and consider whether that behavior is expressing an attachment need, sensory processing need, emotional escalation, or underlying gap between the situational demands and the child’s current capacities. We will help you become a compassionate detective to attune to your child and co-regulate with them to help them feel heard, understood and connected. Reflective parenting support is most often provided to parents of children birth through about seven years old.
In reflective parenting sessions we’ll use the foundations of child development and neurobiological perspectives to explore your child's unique constellation of strengths, challenges and vulnerabilities together, and we’ll collaborate to uncover new ways of thinking about and solving the challenges you face. Reflective parenting sessions are also a supportive space for parents to be heard and validated in their own feelings about the challenges of parenting.
Reflective parenting support often lasts between 6-12 weeks. While sessions will be tailored to address your goals, one overarching objective is that parents leave feeling increased confidence, competence, and connectedness. This modality is not meant to address every concern, but instead is meant to give parents a solid foundation from which they can launch their next steps in parenting. Educational resources (books, handouts, podcasts) will be offered, and additional referrals (child therapy, individual adult therapy, couples therapy, group support) are sometimes recommended.

No, not currently.
I am so grateful for the years I spent providing family-centered, play-based therapy to kids under 7 years old. Through spending time with kids and their caregivers, I discovered that my gifts are best suited to supporting the adults who are raising the little ones. If you are the parent of a young child, my services are aimed at helping you become the therapeutic agent of change in your child’s life. You do not need to be a therapist to be therapeutic. You are uniquely positioned to have a positive impact on your child’s mental health, and I am specially trained to support that process. Please refer to my Reflective Parenting page for more information.
