Individual Therapy

Offered online for residents of California and Minnesota.

My approach to individual therapy is integrative and holistic, which means we’ll use a variety of tools as we work.

Modalities that guide me include Psychodynamic and Attachment-focused therapies, as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Polyvagal Theory, and Somatic Experiencing (SE).

My process emphasizes consent and empowerment.

My role is to support you as you uncover your wisdom and strength. With your permission, I will offer concrete guidance and feedback when it may serve your goals. I will consider the influences of culture, power, privilege, and marginalization as we collaborate in your therapy.

Therapy with me typically involves exploring how past experiences and relationships shape your current feelings, beliefs, and actions. We will also shed light on how your nervous system works to protect you with fight-flight-freeze responses, and how gentle awareness can restore a sense of safety and control for a stressed-out system.
